Maintains good position by ensuring timely disposal of mutations

In his latest distinction, Jalandhar district has secured top position by ensuring maximum mutations of properties within stipulated time-frame and maintaining lowest pendency in the state. The story is based on October data.
As per reports collected by @bureaucrats shadow & trail last month as many as 1,02,973 mutations have been initiated by the officials in the Jalandhar district of which only 1919 mutations were pending in the system which is 1.86 percent of the total initiated cases in October. This good performance brought Jalandhar as a top performing district in ensuring mutations timely.
Outstandingly, the district has earlier maintained top position in maintaining zero pendency in the delivery of citizen centric services to people.
Briefing regarding the good results, DC Ghanshyam Thori added that after the integration of the NDGRS system, registration of mutation is now compulsory within 45 days after the registration of property. He said that after the beginning of this new system over one lakh mutations have been registered by the revenue officials within this time frame.
Speaking with bureaucrats shadow & trail, Ghanshyam Thori further said that no stone would be left unturned to deliver government services in a hassle-free and time-bound manner.
