Keeping this objective in the mind, the Patiala administration is making extra ordinary efforts to contain Dengue in the district. They have launched a Patiala Dengue Monitoring App (PDMA). It’s a good effort to involve people in the fight against the Dengue.

Confirming this Patiala Deputy Commissioner Kumar Amit told APS Brar that “It has two main purposes, i.e. informatory and reporting. The citizens can access information of all do’s and don’ts about dengue, prevention strategies and nearby dengue testing centres”.

Elaborating more Kumar Amit said “Further, the citizen can go to ‘check-up’ link to check for the dengue symptoms and will be directed to the nearby testing centre. The citizen can report the possible breeding sites through this app”.

It can be easily accessed on the cell phone. Bit.ly/dma-patiala.
