New recruits to bring efficiency in the working of department: Water Resources Minister

Chandigarh, August 2:

Punjab water Resources Minister Sukhbinder Singh Sarkaria on Friday handed over appointment letters to 35 new clerks at Head Office of Water Resources Department, Sector-18, Chandigarh.

After handing over appointment letters, the Minister said that the recruitment drive was necessary to accelerate the pace of work and bring efficiency in the working of department. Now, it’s their turn to deliver best services to the people and work with utmost honesty.

Congratulating the new recruits, Sarkaria hoped that the hardwork and dedication of new entrants would take the Department forward and would immensely contribute towards the growth and progress of the Department taking it to higher level.

Notably, the newly recruited clerks have been selected after completion of selection process by Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board.

Prominent amongst who were present on the occasion included Chief Engineer Canals Jagmohan Singh Mann, Chief Engineer Drainage Sanjeev Kumar Gupta, Chief Engineer (K.A.D) Ashwani Kansal, Chief Engineer Vigilance Ms. Gita Singla, Chief Engineer Shahpur Kandi Dam and Ranjit Sagar Dam S.K. Saluja and Superintendent Engineer Kandi Canal R. S. Buttar.
