Kapurthala, 6 May 2021: A young bold woman officer of Punjab catches up glare of publicity and emerges as one of the admired and well-liked officer due to her courageous and bold posture adopted in dealing a situation came up before her at the grain market Bhulath in Kapurthala district last week.
The officer under debate is Geeta Bishambu, who is posted as District Food & Supply Controller at Kapurthala. Besides proving herself as a accomplished administrator and putting up a bold face, she has gained huge recognition on social media by getting multiple likes, shares and comments admiring the way she contend with a recent issue with farmer union leaders. She got huge support and pats on the social media.
Hundreds of well wishers have appreciated her on the well-known social media site @bureaucrats shadow & trail. Her admirers included MLAs, IAS officers, her colleagues in the department and common people. It is first time that such a huge support has been gained by a woman officer from all sections of society.
