Jaipur, 23 June. Chief Secretary Mr Niranjan Arya directed the officers that action should be taken on the letters of public representatives on priority and their immediate reply should be given.

He said that it should be ensured that the protocol guide issued with respect to the mandatory invitation of public representatives in the foundation-laying and inauguration programs of state buildings and other state programs should be ensured.

The Chief Secretary was presiding over the meeting held on Wednesday regarding the protocol of public representatives through VC.

Mr Arya asked the officials to ensure that the MPs and MLAs are treated as prescribed under the protocol. He said that the protocol should be followed on the basis of the circular issued in this regard for the year 2020.

In this regard, the foundation stone-laying or inauguration programs of state buildings and other state functions organized with state funds, whether they are of any state undertaking, board, corporation or autonomous organization, include public representatives such as MPs, MLAs, district heads, heads, mayors of municipal bodies. , Chairman, President, Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat and public representatives, especially the people’s representatives of the area should be invited.

He said that the officers of the department should be aware of these guidelines even at the field level.

Mr Arya said that the departments should also give their suggestions in writing to make this system more robust.
