Deputy Commissioner Jaspreet Singh and District Police Chief Gaurav Tura inspected the old food market and the market near Gurdwara Chowk with a view to alleviate the traffic congestion of the city dwellers and ensure smooth and smooth flow of traffic.
Deputy Commissioner Jaspreet Singh directed the illegal constructions on the site of the old grain mandi near the market to take immediate initiative to keep the goods within their limits.
He said that with the goods kept outside the shops, where the traffic was disrupted, there was a danger of road accidents. He said that in the food markets of the district along with the city of Mansa no person would be allowed to occupy the premises illegally.
Jaspreet Singh said that there was a plan to construct a parking lot for the adjoining market on the site of Mansa Old Grain Market, which would make it easier for the visitors to park their vehicles and also help the people to avoid any traffic congestion. There will be relief for the common man.
He appealed to the shopkeepers and city dwellers to cooperate in this campaign launched by the district administration to solve the traffic problem.
