Rahul Bhandari gets important assignments in AAP Govt

Chandigarh, September 27, 2022:

A 1997- batch IAS officer, Rahul Bhandari, who is presently serving as Principal Secretary Technical Education and Industrial Training on 27^th September assumed addition charges of Principal Secretary Information and Public Relations and Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs.

After assuming charges of both the departments, Principal Secretary Rahul Bhandari held separate meetings with Director Information and Public Relations Sonali Giri and Director Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Ghanshyam Thori.

Rahul Bhandari said that he would accord top priority to further bringing efficiency and transparency in the functioning of the departments to achieve the goals and aspirations of the Punjab Government.

Rahul Bhandari has also been given charge as principal secretary, civil aviation.

He has also served as Deputy Commissioner Bathinda.

Earlier, both these posts i.e. Secretary Food & Civil Supply and Public relation departments were held by 2001-batch IAS officer Gurkirat Kirpal Singh.
