Congress candidate Santokh Singh Chaudhary today registered an impressive win in elections for Jalandhar Parliamentary Constituency by defeating his nearest rival Dr. Charanjit Singh Atwal of Shiromani Akali Dal by a margin of 19,491 votes.
The winning candidate, flanked by his son Vikram Singh Chaudhary and other leaders, received the certificate of win from Returning Officer Varinder Sharma, who was also accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioners Kulwant Singh and Jasbir Singh, Deputy Commissioner of Police PBS Parmar and other officers.
