Chandigarh:  Eight IAS officers who are serving as Deputy Commissioners in various districts of Punjab have emerged popular among the populace as good administrators with their proactive approach and hardworking posture. Their passion and vision is very much marked in their working style, which clearly strives for quality work in their daily dealings and events.

The personal characteristics and daily public dealings of bureaucrats are always under the observation of public eye and this quiet monitoring of public makes them hero and this tag follows them in their entire service.

The Deputy Commissioners in question are Showkat Ahmed Parray, Jaspreet Singh, Harpreet Singh Sudan, Kulwant Singh, Himanshu Aggarwal, Vishesh Sarangal, Surabhi Malik and Ruhee Dugg. They have earned popularity by their good work which is very much evident in their official dealings. They are time and again observed by the public eye for making efforts to clearing the pendency of revenue cases, making timely decisions, monitoring of development works and complaints redressal related with general public.

Various kinds of people visiting their offices were converse with to know their level of satisfaction. This correspondent have visited the waiting rooms of the administrative complexes and quizzed the general public to know the outcome of their visit to reach a conclusive view.

It has emerged that besides possessing high morals and making quick disposal of their official work, these bureaucrats are taking many other proactive actions beyond their call of duty which label them as good administrators.
