SSP Vigilance motivates youth to join police force for serving the country

Jalandhar, December 20- Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Vigilance Bureau Mr Diljinder Singh Dhillon on Friday exhorted the youths to serve the country by joining the police force.

Speaking with the students in the career counselling Spark mela here at Guru Gobind Singh stadium today, Mr Dhillon explained the students about the qualification criteria of several posts from the constable, sub-inspector, inspector, Deputy Superintendents of Police and others besides detailed about written or physical tests.

He added that Punjab Police has an extremely proud history even before the Independence since 1861. He also recalled the glorious tradition of Punjab Police in service of the country and ensuring peace and harmony in Punjab.

SSP vigilance further told that discipline and hard work are keys to success for any organization and exhorted the youths to join the force.

SSP Vigilance told that the cops are protectors and enforcers of the law.

He said that they act as saviours of people but one must have interested in ensuring the goodwill and safety of people.

He told that though, this job is tough as one has to deal with challenging situations at most of the times but this job brings authority and respect.
